Translation Progress in Mbeya
I just read this in Helen Eaton’s newsletter this morning about the completion of Mark in 3 languages of the Mbeya Cluster Project…
That’s an interesting looking photo on the right there! What is it?
It’s the Malila translation of Mark! Or the “Good News of Jesus Christ, as written by Mark”, as it says on the front cover. As you can imagine, it was a very happy day when the boxes of Malila Mark books arrived in the office. The Malila have not been the only ones celebrating though, as the Kinga and Ndali translations of Mark have also arrived in the office since the start of this year. There is much tangible evidence of progress in the translation office these days! (So tangible that you have to be careful not to trip over all the boxes!)
