Update On Our New Assignment

Over the last five years Ranette and I have worked on two language cluster projects in Tanzania: The Mbeya-Iringa Cluster Project and the Mara Cluster Project. I have worked as the Training Coordinator for the Uganda-Tanzania Branch (UTB) of SIL International and Ranette has overseen the finance and operations departments on both projects.

We are excited to announce that last week I joined the directorate of UTB and will now serve as the branch Director of Training & Development. For the short term Ranette will assist me in this new position by managing training logistics and finances.

The new roles require us to move to Dar es Salaam where the UTB head office is located. We’ll be moving our belongings there next week just before going on return assignment (furlough) to Canada.

It’s an exciting new chapter in our lives and we can’t wait to see what new things are in store for us!
